DEEP ROOTS

—9:30am—

This service is a simple, down-to-earth time of worship and community. We start at 9:00am—weird, I know—with a time for coffee, chats, and check-ins (if you have infants/toddlers).

The service itself is basic in form and content: praise, prayer, communion,* message, and celebration. The music draws upon familiar praise-songs as well as some good ol' hymns redone. The message is anchored in biblical teaching and seeks to provide real-life application.

It's come as you are as we all come together to worship, learn about God, live new lives in Christ, and serve with the power of the Holy Spirit.

_______________________
* Also known as "the Lord's Supper" or, in some circles, "eucharist." If you're unfamiliar with this (no matter the term), it's a type of ceremonial remembrance of what God has done for us in Christ—i.e., his self-giving and loving sacrifice not only to rescue us from sin but also to give us new life. If you want to know more about this, please feel free to ask. We're here to help.

CLASSIC

—11:00am—

This service is a more formal, traditional-style of worship, beginning promptly at 11:00am. If you have infants/toddlers, please be sure to arrive a few minutes early for check-in.

The service is more on the side of liturgical in its form and content: call to worship, strategically placed hymns, prayers and responses, anthems, communion, offering, message, and benediction. And to keep things focused and consistent, the message is the same as given in "Deep Roots."

While the form is different, the purpose of this service remains the same: we come together to worship, learn about God, live new lives in Christ, and serve with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Following this service, we host a "coffee hour" for people to gather and spend time with each other in our Fellowship Hall.
