"Jesus said, 'Let the little come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of Heaven'."

(Matthew 19:14)

The Children's Ministry at Antioch exists to prepare the minds and hearts of children to receive the gospel message, so that children can begin to learn how to live as followers of Christ.

We believe that all children have the right to hear the story of Jesus and to learn about the salvation he offers to the world. Granted, this story cannot be told to all children in the same way--simply because of stages of learning and understanding. So we make sure our lessons and activities correspond to the various age groups. At present, we have two classes--both meet during the worship hour:

Preschool: children (ages 5 and under) learn the story of the Bible and God's love for them through hands-on activities, songs, play, and storytelling.

Grade school: children (ages 6-10) learn the basic truths about the Bible, God, Jesus, the message of salvation, faith, and how to share the gospel with others. This learning is also done through various activities, songs, and studying from the Bible.
